  Power System Engineer

0–5 years

ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS®E

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate electrical system models (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination).
  • Perform power system studies — load flow, fault analysis, stability, and relay coordination.
  • Prepare study reports, SLDs, and compliance documents as per IEEE/IEC standards.
  • Support renewable integration and grid compliance studies (solar, wind, BESS). 

Ideal Candidate:

Electrical engineer passionate about grid planning and system studies, with good analytical and reporting skills.

  Protection & Relay Engineer

2–8 years

ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, CYME, OMICRON Test Universe, Relay Setting Calculations, Fault Analysis, and Protection Coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify protection schemes (50/51, 50N/51N, 87T, 64, 24, 46, 49).
  • Conduct relay coordination and grading studies.
  • Develop settings, logic, and testing procedures for IEDs and numerical relays.
  • Review TCC curves and ensure selective coordination for MV/LV feeders.  

Ideal Candidate:

Engineer with practical understanding of substation protection systems and hands-on relay configuration experience.

 Renewable Integration | Grid Compliance Engineer

3–10 years

PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory

Responsibilities:

  • Perform renewable (solar/wind/BESS) interconnection and compliance studies.
  • Conduct LVRT, HVRT, frequency, and reactive power capability tests as per CTU/CEA guidelines.
  • Model inverter and control systems in PSCAD or PSS®E.
  • Coordinate with utilities for model validation and grid approval submissions. 

Ideal Candidate:

Engineer with knowledge of grid code requirements and renewable project interconnection processes.

  Substation Design Engineer

3–10 years

AutoCAD, ETAP

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electrical design deliverables — SLD, GA, cable schedules, control schematics.
  • Coordinate protection, metering, and SCADA interfaces.
  • Ensure design compliance with IEC/IS/IEEE standards.
  • Support procurement and construction teams during implementation. 

Ideal Candidate:

Electrical design engineer experienced in HV/MV substation design and documentation.

 Project | Proposal Engineer(Power System Studies)

3–6 years

ETAP, PSS®E, Excel, MS Projects

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for power system study projects.
  • Understand client requirements and scope alignment.
  • Coordinate with engineering and business teams for deliverable timelines. 

Ideal Candidate:

Engineer with consulting exposure and strong communication skills for client coordination.

  Transmission Planning Engineer

4–10 years

PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct long-term transmission network planning and contingency analysis.
  • Evaluate N-1/N-2 conditions and propose reinforcement plans.
  • Prepare feasibility and expansion reports aligned with utility grid codes. 

Ideal Candidate:

Engineer with transmission utility or consultancy experience in planning and power system analysis.

Graduate Engineer Trainee – Power System Studies

0–1 year

India / Remote / On-site

ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS®E (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers in developing and validating power system models.
  • Support load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination studies.
  • Prepare and review single-line diagrams, equipment data sheets, and reports.
  • Perform data collection, input preparation, and study documentation under guidace.
  • Learn utility grid codes, IEEE/IEC standards, and protection fundamentals. 

Ideal Candidate:

Fresh Electrical Engineering graduate with strong fundamentals in power systems, eager to learn software-based system studies and contribute to consulting projects.
